15. A Senior Moment! Real Life in Action
in Today's World of Automated Banking.

When one of England's more senior citizens, 98 years young, is fined for an un-authorized overdraft, she remonstrated in a laudable manner. God Bless Her presence of mind. Find out what this senior did which will bring a smile to your face as it did to her bank manager's gritted smile in response. (Thanks to Andrew in Northern Ireland).

16. DoggyJava, Coffee to match master' and mistress' taste buds
Consumer research in November 2007 showed acceptance by our doggies of cups of, or should I say "bowls" of, fresh coffee to match our taste buds. The coffee brewer is US-based, and is aptly named "doggyjava". They've won a prestigious award in New Product Innovation. Far away on Crete, I am not sure if that is for marketing to the dogs or humans. The Doggyjava offering is pictured here.

18. Halloween! Not really in Greece.
So, 'Chase the Dot' Shock, Horror, Any Time, Instead.

Until recently Greece did not celebrate Halloween. Today you will find it is still the mainly expat communities that "dress their kids up" for scaring the life out of adults and for "door-to-door" trick or treating. But where there is a euro to be made, the Greek kids know how to turn a trick. More and more they join in. Anyway, for light relief leading up to October 31, have a bit of fun .. but, if you have a weak heart this electrifying game is not for you!

19 - QE2horn.mp3 Horn Blowing - Sound of QE2's Last Voyage
In memory of a true "Queen" (and not the many that hang around street corners these days). This is an mp3 audio file tribute to the illustrious QE2.
The mp3 audio was recorded "live" as the QE2's horn blew as she sailed out of Southampton Harbour on her Last Voyage to her final resting place - anchored, as she is now as a luxury hotel in Dubai.

20. March 26, 2009 is the big day for Flying to Crete. Athens Airways started its scheduled flights between Chania and Athens. The video below, shows the Kavala - Athens route opening just a few weeks earlier by Greek TV news. None the less there are excellent shots of the aircraft being used and seat types. Frankly, it looks very similar to the service that Aegean Airways is offering. While the video is in Greek, the pictures speak for themselves -- you can see the aircraft, the comfort of the seating and the rest.
