    Insurance Products

    Life Assurance
The most often asked question is: "What is the average price of life insurance?" To answer Stavros, our broker would need to know several facts, as there are many different types of Life insurance products. The popular ones are the "whole life" and the "term life" insurances. These products are very popular with people who would like to insure their lives and/or leave a lump sum to their families. Also, banks require individuals who buy property mortgages to insure their lives against death through a term life policy.

    Medical Insurance
Medical Insurance aims to cover the medical expenses incurred due to illness after admittance to a hospital. Some plans can cover outpatient services and doctors appointments. Most of the plans offer a generous upper limit of medical expenses per annum with an excess (deductible) amount.

    Pension
Pension plans provide a monthly pension or a lump sum at retirement and they are funded throughout the working life of an individual with monthly or annual contributions/premiums.

    Car Insurance
Road Assistance Automobile Insurance is offered in a wide range of benefits ranging from the ones required by the government as a minimum insurance (Third Party Liability 500.000 euros bodily injuries and 100.000 euros property damage) to a fully comprehensive insurance which covers damages to our own vehicles. Most of the insurers also provide a motor care service which help policy owners at the time of the accident.

How much is Home Insurance a month?
Another basic question, but again sometimes can be part of a car insurance policy in Greece, so how long is a piece of string? Then there is holiday home insurance and full time occupation of a home insurance. In general, Home insurance policies aim to protect the building and the belongings of our houses against many perils (e.g. fire, flooding, smoke, theft, burglary, explosion, etc.) For an additional cost home policies can cover damage due to an earthquake. But specific rules and conditions apply.

    Industrial and Commercial Insurance
Industrial and Commercial insurance aims to fully protect the building and assets of companies against many perils (e.g. fire, flooding, smoke, theft, burglary, explosion, etc.). For an additional cost businessmen can cover the earthquake and loss of profit.

    Boat Insurance
Similar to automobile insurance, boat insurance benefits range from the third party liability to a fully comprehensive insurance policy which covers damages to your vessel.

    Liability
Liability insurance aims to protect you and your business against claims related to allegations of negligent activities or failure to use reasonable care.

    Financial Products
They are usually offered as Unit Linked financial products through insurance corporations. Their purpose is to create a fund which will cover the financial needs of the policy holder at a certain time in the future.
